I know I'm going to get flamed, but I don't have access to do a copy/paste
from the terminal so I'll just describe what I'm experiencing with respect
to network cards...
version:
g4u 2.2
issue 1:
I have a system with a Marvell Yukon GE chip on it that does not show up
in g4u. It also does not show up in NetBSD 3.1.
I looked at http://www.marvell.com/drivers/search.do and could only find
Freebsd/Linux/etc drivers but no NetBSD drivers...
The dmesg output references "Galileo (Marvell) Technology product 0x4361
(ethernet network, revision 0x17) at pci 3 dev 0 functinoa 0 not
configured"
The ifconfig command just has the lo0 interface, of course...
issue 2:
I have another system with an IntelĀ® PRO/1000 MT Server Adapter in it that
crashes g4u on bootup.
It causes a "panic: iostat_unbusy" and then crashes at location
0xc044fdd4.
wd0: busy < 0
panic: iostat_unbusy
Stopped at -0xc044fdd4:
The Intel network card, however, does show up in NetBSD 3.1 as a wm0
adapter.
dmesg output from NetBSD 3.1: "wm0 at pci6 dev 1 function Intel i82545GM
1000BASE-T Ethernet, rev. 4"
Any insights?
thanks
Jeff.
