A few days ago I wrote a mail to Hubert Feyrer and got this answer:

NetBSD doesn't have any drivers, and as Broadcom is known to not release full documentation on their hardware and only release some binary drivers for some operating systems, there's little that I can do at this point. :( Yes, I wish this was different - blame Broadcom! :( - Hubert --- I'm sure there must be a way to use the linux kernel module in NetBSD as well. As long as g4u has this network problem I have to use Knoppix and netcat to clone my computers. Let's hope Broadcom releases a driver for their stupid nics.
