Hello again,
I've had great success with g4u and have cloned to 34 of my 42 units now. I got dhcpd compiled and running on my MacBook to do PXE boot and then set up TFTP, FTP and NFS access for the relevant files/boot sections. Last time i asked Hubert about passing a command line and realised that the easiest way would be to have a default config file that is fetched by ftp on startup of g4u. If it isn't there then normal use continues, if it can be downloaded then it is parsed (by sh?) and used. I must say that I'm not familiar with NetBSD at all, looking at the source for the commands makes them seem straightforward enough. I assume the ftp and dd routines, for example, are part of the NetBSD build? For key thing for me, once I've managed to do a plain build is to find where g4u begins in the shell. From use, there must be a call to 'usage' but I can't find it. Can anyone help? Adrian ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
