Please note that
  * there is no g4u 2.4, only a first alpha version
  * g4u is based on netbsd-current, not a release version - netbsd-current
    is far ahead of netbsd 4.

I guess building alpha2 with latest -current would help somewhat... I'll 
have a look - feel free to bug me in 2-3 weeks if you don't hear back.
