Hallo Aonghais 's a h-uile duine,

Bha mi toilichte gum b'urrainn dhomh d' email leughadh! (Chan fhaca mi do
fhaclan ann am Beurla ach beagan.)
I was happy that it was possible for me to read your email! (I didn't read
your words in English but a little.)

 Bha
>leabhar eile agam, "Everyday Gaelic" le Mo\rag Nic Illeathain, agus bha e
>so\nraichte
>math 'nam bheachd.

Bha. Tha an aon leabhar agam-sa, 's is toigh leam e cuideachd.
Yes. I have the same book, and I like it also.

Tha sgeulachdan goirid ann an Eadar Peann is Paipear.
There are short stories in EPIP.

> Bithidh mi ag obair leis an luchd-obraiche 'nuair
>nach bi mi a' teagaisg, agus is toigh leam an suidheachadh sin math gu leo\ir.

'S math sin!
>
>Bithidh thu-fhe/in air saor-laithean a nis, nach bi?
Bithidh. Ach chan 'eil e a' toirt fada airson na la\ithean seo a' dol
seachad.
Yes. But it isn't taking long for the days to go by.
(Chan 'eil mi cinnteach am bheil an sreath seo ceart...I have a pattern
sentence, "Tha tug e fad' a' dol seachad" but changing the tense/subject was
more complicated than I thought it would be.)

 Shaoilinn gum biodh feum agad
>orra. Tha aimsir na sgoile fa\da gu leo\ir! De/ na h-i\rean a tha thu a' teagaisg
>ann an sgoil?

Tha thu ceart gu leo/r, Aonghais! Tha mi a' teagaisg anns an a\rd-sgoil,
a-naoideamh h-a\raidh, ach a h-uile i\rean cuideachd.
You're right enough, Angus! I am teaching in a high school, 9th especially,
but all grades also.

>Tha mi gle/ thoilichte sin a leughadh. Bu dhoirbh an rathad a bh' agad, agus tha mi
>am fi\or dho\chas gum bi esan a' fa\s na's fhasa agus thusa na's fhea\rr
>amoch a seo.
Tapadh leat airson do fhacail choibhneil Aonghais.
Thank you for your kind words, Angus.

Tha thu ceart a rithist. Tha an rathad doirbh, ach chan 'e ach an aon
rathad, nach e?
You're right again. The road is difficult, but it's the only road, right?
(Is do\cha nach 'eil an sreath seo ceart nas motha.)
(Probably this sentence is not correct either.)

Bithidh mi a' sge\ith gu Carolina a Tuath seachdain an deireadh 'sa tighinn.
I will be going to N.C. this coming weekend.

Bithidh seachdain la\n de Ga\idhlig ann, agus tha mi air mo thogail!
There will be a week full of Gaelic, and I am excited!

An deidh sin, ni mi ceilidh air m' athair 's air da\ bhrathair agam
cuideachd.
After that, I will visit my father and 2 brothers also.

Oidhche leibh.

Siu\saidh
