Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: crazyc0ol (crazyc0ol) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Gaim Freezes Overtime then Crashes AND Status Change Crashes Initial Comment: Gaim initially functions fine, but over time the interface starts exhibiting strange anomalies in the form of window text disappearing and only returning when highlighted or the icon row in the im window disappears and only comes back on mouse over. Another problem involves gaim starting up in invisible status. A change to the online status to available results in a slight delay (some text box appears under the status controls), then it greys out and immediately crashes. The first problem described above has occured since installation of gaim on a fresh copy of winxp. In an attempt to fix problems, I installed gaim beta 5 without gtk, but that failed to work entirely. Reinstallation of gaim beta 6 simply brought back the aforementioned problems. ------------------- Error occured on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 17:01:53.
