Category: win32 Group: 2.0.0 beta 6 >Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Daryl Herzmann (akrherz) Assigned to: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Summary: command line (-l) account login not working Initial Comment: Our environment is to configure Gaim with many Jabber accounts. Then to create a shortcut with specifies to Gaim which account to login as on startup. This has worked nicely on Gaim 1.5 . Now attempting with Gaim 2.0b6, it doesn't work. We envoke gaim like so gaim.exe -n -l [EMAIL PROTECTED]/Resource and gaim starts, but fails to properly login. Strangely, the jabber server appears to indicate the client is logged in, but presense stanzas don't appear to be processed. Any ideas? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Daryl Herzmann (akrherz) Date: 2007-02-08 09:53 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=341971 Originator: YES Hi, Thanks for the rapid response. We use the -n parameter, since we have all accounts setup to auto-login and don't want them all to be logged in accept the one specified by the -l Just running Gaim.exe will log all jabber accounts in just fine. thanks! daryl ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Date: 2007-02-08 09:50 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=325843 Originator: NO I don't think this is directly related to the "-l" parameter being used. Does logging into that account work using the regular signing on process? Why are you using the "-n" parameter? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100235&aid=1655307&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
