Both of us have had our Yahoo accounts for 3+ years (if that makes any difference). This is the steps. 1. Uninstalled all gaim/gtk. 2. Deleted %appdata%/.gaim 3. Installed gaim-2.0.0beta6-debug.exe 4. Got the wizard, created new Profile for Yahoo. 5. Entered my yahoo id, password, save password checkbox and then changed Yahoo Pager Port to port 23 from 5050 (Corporate Network). Nothing else changed or modified. No preferences etc. 6. Then when Yahoo connects, I get Contact list for 1 second, then Gaim crashes.
