I am not frequent user of gtalk (once in 3 months or more) but from beta4 I noticed that it does not login and says "read error". I checked /usr/lib/gaim and found ssl-nss to exist. I checked gaim faq page it says it needs gnutls or mozilla nss-nspr. I installed gnutls as well. mozilla nss-nspr was already installed with fc2. Still it doesnt work. Gaim debug mode shows plugins: Loading saved plugin /usr/lib/gaim/ssl-nss.so plugins: Loading saved plugin /usr/lib/gaim/psychic.so plugins: Loading saved plugin /usr/lib/gaim/ssl.so So that means default libs that came with RPM are used.
