Category: win32 Group: v-old >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Jbug (jbug) Assigned to: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Summary: keyboard focus with window raise Initial Comment: When you set "Raise IM Window On Events" in the preferences and/or "Raise Chat Window On Events", a better behavior would be: raise the window, but do not assign keyboard focus. Nicer yet, if the keyboard focus was on another window in this program, wait for SEND or <CR> in the prior window before actively assigning keyboard focus to the raised window. As it is, if one has two conversations going, when one is typing to one and the other replies, your typing is interrupted into the wrong window. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: SourceForge Robot (sf-robot) Date: 2007-02-15 19:20 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1312539 Originator: NO This Tracker item was closed automatically by the system. It would be nice if the version showed up in the help >> about window. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Date: 2004-10-07 20:00 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=325843 What version of GTK are you using? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Jbug (jbug) Date: 2004-10-03 14:48 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1131648 Activity in the Buddy List window also distracts keyboard focus, and characters get lost, control does not return to the typing window.
