Category: win32 Group: 2.0.0 beta 6 >Status: Pending Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Walter Wong (wcw) Assigned to: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Summary: gaim (gtk?) multi-monitor of irregular size Initial Comment: I'm using multi-monitor under vista where I have the laptop display (1024x768) and a larger external LCD (1600x1200). The default windows setup is to align the tops of the screens. However, this is somewhat unnatural for me so in the Display Properties, I move the smaller laptop screen so that the bottoms of the screens are aligned instead of the tops. What happens with my gaim buddy list window is that it keeps the same absolute pixel position when I move the smaller screen down rather than noting the move and staying positioned in the same relative space on the smaller screen. As a result, when I 'move' the smaller screen to be aligned with the bigger screen in the Display properties, all my other windows move but all I see is the bottom part of the GAIM buddy list window. I'm afraid I have not tried to repro this on WinXP or any other windows variant. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Date: 2007-02-21 10:13 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=325843 Originator: NO I don't understand what the issue is. Are you saying that the one time when you change your desktop shape, Gaim doesn't notice and move the buddy list, or is this an issue that happens on a recurring basis? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100235&aid=1665248&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
