But I have found that in tab mode for every person that I get a message my memory usage goes up sometimes by a lot. I had at one time 10 people talking to me and my memory usage for just gaim alone accounted for 75% of the memory on my machine being used. I am not sure if anyone else has had this issue if they have I apologize for resubmitting this. I will take screen shots through the night tonight and I wish I had already of what happens everytime someone else send me a msg and how the memory usage continues to grow and grow and GROW !!!! I actually just came here to report the same issue, so I'll just comment here. I just closed Gaim out, it was up to about 571Mb usage on my box. Windoze XP SP2 (All current updates) Office 2k7 H&S Beta installed Running Programs: winamp, firefox, gaim, hp laptop stuff. System: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 1.6Ghz per processor, 2 Gb RAM Gaim is beta 6, but if I recall correctly, I also had this issue with beta 5.
