Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: win32 Group: 2.0.0 beta 6 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Sean "Diggity" O'Brien (seandiggity) Assigned to: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Summary: New away message doesn't replace old one Initial Comment: When I am away (which is pretty much all the time) I switch away messages often by typing in the gaim window. On my Windows XP SP2 box (but not my Ubuntu 6.10), the old message doesn't always go away when I attempt to replace it with a new one. This is true when I create a new message and choose either "Use" or "Save and Use". What's odd is that older saved away messages will work but not new ones I've just created. Example: 1. Message A is my current away message. 2. I create Message B, give it a name, and choose "Save and Use". Message A remains. 3. I choose Message C, an older away message. Message C becomes my away message. 4. I choose Message B again. Message A becomes my away message again. 5. I quit and then start gaim again. Message A still remains, even though Message B is currently selected (see screenshot). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100235&aid=1676285&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
