Summary: Memory leak in gaim-2.0.0beta6

Initial Comment:
There seems to be a memory leak in gaim-2.0.0beta6 that does not effect
usability, but continues to eat up resources until the system starts paging.
Windows XP SP2 Fully Patched, Gaim Idles at ~30 MB ram until you start IM'ing
people, and then ive seen it go all the way up to 400+MB.
4msn accounts, 3aim, doesn't seem to matter which sorting method (there use to
be a leak with sort by log size) or which account has the Messaging window
open.

Reverted to gaim-2.0.0beta5 and this seemed to fix the problem, but AIM
accounts showed up as '(unknown) account type' until you reset them.

Any other info I can provide?

Thanks

Ben

I'm seeing the same behavior with 2.0.0beta6 on WinXP. Right now, my Mem
Usage is at 77M and my VM Size is 630M. Let me know if there's any other
useful info I can provide.

When I reverted, i used the same GTK+ Version, 2.10.7
Tab placement is 'on top'

Are you using the same GTK+ version as beta6 (2.10.7) (Help-About) when
you revert to beta5?

Do you have your Tab Placement somewhere other than "on top"?
