Category: win32 Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Alberge204 (alberge204) Assigned to: Daniel Atallah (datallah) Summary: cygwin + gaim 1.5.0 - solved painlessly Initial Comment: I know this issue has been discussed several times, but you mentioned in response to bug 1500751 that you'd love to hear any real solutions. It sounds like it may no longer be a problem with Gaim 2.0.0beta6, but I run 1.5.0 and want to keep Cygwin in my path so I can use all of its various programs easily. In my case, copying tcl84.dll and tk84.dll from the DLLs folder of my Python 2.5 installation to my Gaim folder solved the problem. Should this information be added to the Gaim win32 page? I hope this helps those of us who stubbornly keep Cygwin in the system path. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100235&aid=1692213&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
