I have a msn connection. When I unplug the network cable I can see that gaim is waiting for network to come up again (from the status I see "waiting for network connection..." or something similar) When I replug the cable the message disappears but the connection is not restored, and although I'm offline I can see the buddies that were online before I had unplugged the cable.
