This would not necessarily have to be done through the transparency plugin, it could also be done through a new plugin that would make the windows minimise on unfocus. Without the need for double clicking on them. Also if possible make some kind of hotkey that to the eyes of the viewer (or the teacher/parent coming closer)would make the Gaim invisible, i.e. close conversation windows or hide them in some other way.
