When connecting to the protocols those chat windows directly pop up. However, these chat groups behave like bookmarks (with an optional auto load function) - not like the buddies in the list. I would propose an adition of a 'as buddy' option. Or change the behaviour of a chat group contact to match that of buddies: - a chat in the list means you have entered the chat / or when the auto join is enabled only - messages in the chat are like a message by a normal contact (e.g. they make the icon flash) If the default behaviour is changed it might be good to add some 'bookmark' support for chats (e.g. the current behaviour for chats in the buddy list) as it serves its purpose. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luke Schierer (lschiere) Date: 2007-04-11 13:03 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=28833 Originator: NO As we are closing this tracker, please submit any feature request that is still valid to http://developer.pidgin.im.
