Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: gtk-ui Group: None >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Max Lynch (techrolla) Assigned to: Tim Ringenbach (marv_sf) Summary: HTML formatting Initial Comment: Maybe I am the only one who actually misses HTML formatting? I remember using the versions before the internal formatting and loving being able to have and and all the other convenient tags like that. If you don't think adding HTML formatting as an option is a good idea, could you at least support subscripts and superscripts for formatting? Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luke Schierer (lschiere) Date: 2007-04-17 15:40 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=28833 Originator: NO As we are closing this tracker, please submit any feature request that is still valid to http://developer.pidgin.im. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Megan Schneider (ciran) Date: 2006-06-26 10:54 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=801517 Adding comment from #1167030 (Dominic Mauro - dominicmauro): The WYSIWYG interface is nice, but an option to turn it off would be wonderful. I really miss using strikethrough and superscript tags. Also from same (from LSchiere): I think what is actually being requested here is the ability to enter in arbitrary protocol-supported forms of formating above and beyond that available from the current set of keyboard shortcuts and buttons. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=350235&aid=1099906&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
