Summary: HTML formatting

Initial Comment:
Maybe I am the only one who actually misses HTML
formatting? I remember using the versions before the
internal formatting and loving being able to have
and and all the other convenient tags like that.
If you don't think adding HTML formatting as an option
is a good idea, could you at least support subscripts
and superscripts for formatting? Thanks.

Adding comment from #1167030 (Dominic Mauro - dominicmauro):
The WYSIWYG interface is nice, but an option to turn it
off would be wonderful. I really miss using
strikethrough and superscript tags.

Also from same (from LSchiere):
I think what is actually being requested here is the ability
to enter in arbitrary protocol-supported forms of formating
above and beyond that available from the current set of
keyboard shortcuts and buttons.
