Initial Comment: Hi there I'm a big GAIM fan - I love it for it's MSN and AIM support. However, we are bringing up an internal Jabber server at work, and I'd love to use GAIM instead of the stand-alone Jabber clients, but GAIM doesn't support user directory lookups (JUD) or file transfers - which are pretty fundamental IMHO. Is this on the TODO list? I can't write the code myself, but I'd certainly be willing to trial any work in this area in our environment... Thanks Jason ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luke Schierer (lschiere) Date: 2007-04-20 10:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=28833 Originator: NO As we are closing this tracker, please submit any feature request that is still valid to http://developer.pidgin.im. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: yvesch (yvesch) Date: 2004-12-03 07:21 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1171021 Hi, I think having JUD support would be very nice. One of the main advantages of Jabber is that it's easy to set up a server; browsing the userlist on a private server is really a must. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nathan Walp (faceprint) Date: 2004-02-25 19:35 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=17471 File transfer is in CVS. JUD lookups is on the todo list, but not very high up on it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=350235&aid=896194&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
