Summary: Strikeouts in AIM chats/IMs

Initial Comment:
When re-reading an AIM chat-log, i noticed that there
were strikeouts used, but they weren't shown in the
chat window, same thing when using strikeouts in IM
conversations with AIM users. (They're just shown as
regular text)

So, yeah, would be nice if that feature could be added
sometime, heh.

Thanks. ^^

As we are closing this tracker, please submit any feature request that is
still valid to http://developer.pidgin.im. Thanks.

It is, but it was Closed/Rejected. Apparently they don't
want the button (?).

I just submitted a patch for support of strikeouts earlier
this morning. Haven't looked at super-/subscripts yet, but
I imagine they'd probably be fairly similar to implement.

FYI, strikeouts along with a number of other tags are
stubbed in gtkimhtml.c around line 2090 or so.

Perhaps strikeout, sub, and sup could be implemented and
added as buttons to the gtkimhtmltoolbar.

This used to be a feature when we didn't have a WYSIWYG text
interface. Back then you could use subscripts,
superscripts, and strike outs. But now we can't.
