Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: angahith (angahith) Assigned to: Tim Ringenbach (marv_sf) Summary: Strikeouts in AIM chats/IMs Initial Comment: When re-reading an AIM chat-log, i noticed that there were strikeouts used, but they weren't shown in the chat window, same thing when using strikeouts in IM conversations with AIM users. (They're just shown as regular text) So, yeah, would be nice if that feature could be added sometime, heh. Thanks. ^^ ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Luke Schierer (lschiere) Date: 2007-04-20 11:00 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=28833 Originator: NO As we are closing this tracker, please submit any feature request that is still valid to http://developer.pidgin.im. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Sam S. (lessa) Date: 2004-08-26 12:07 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=797811 It is, but it was Closed/Rejected. Apparently they don't want the button (?). https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1014413&group_id=235&atid=300235 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: angahith (angahith) Date: 2004-08-26 12:01 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1101440 Thanks, but, uhh... It's not there anymore. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Sam S. (lessa) Date: 2004-08-23 12:03 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=797811 I just submitted a patch for support of strikeouts earlier this morning. Haven't looked at super-/subscripts yet, but I imagine they'd probably be fairly similar to implement. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Spam3234 (spam3234) Date: 2004-08-15 22:47 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1027350 it would be nice to see those buttons implimented in future versions of gaim ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Jon Oberheide (binaryjono) Date: 2004-08-14 21:55 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=812992 FYI, strikeouts along with a number of other tags are stubbed in gtkimhtml.c around line 2090 or so. Perhaps strikeout, sub, and sup could be implemented and added as buttons to the gtkimhtmltoolbar. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Bill B (lollybomb) Date: 2004-08-11 17:21 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=837290 This used to be a feature when we didn't have a WYSIWYG text interface. Back then you could use subscripts, superscripts, and strike outs. But now we can't. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=350235&aid=1006787&group_id=235 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
