I am using Gaim v1.5.1cvs with Mepis 6.0 Linux. My kids use YMessenger with Windoze. The problem I'm having is with sending files. I can send a file to my kids but when they try to send me a file, the send file button on their YMessenger is greyed out and they get a message saying that the version of messenger I am using does not support that feature and that I should upgrade to the newest version of YMessenger. I do not want to try one of the newer beta versions of Gaim unless it is known for sure that it would solve my problem as the version I have installed works very well. Anyone know?
