Summary: Chat window opens to top left of desktop

Initial Comment:
When a new chat window opens, it always opens to the
top left hand corner of the desktop. This is kind of a
nuisance and it would nice if the window remembered
where it was closed last time. This creates a problem
on systems with dual displays where the second display
isn't always in use. I think the old version of GAIM
remembered where the window was on its last instance.

Thanks for the hard work the new version is cool.

This is not a Gaim bug, but a bug in GTK+, the widget toolkit
used by Gaim. Your bug is being moved to our "gtk bugs" tracker,
where it will be grouped with similar bugs. When we know a gtk
bug number for this issue, your group number will reflect it.

Gaim has never remembered conversation window locations.
There is a plugin in the plugins tracker that will do this
for you.
