Summary: User info tooltip persists forever after opening chat window

Initial Comment:
Under Gaim 1.2.1 on Windows XP, I've found an issue
with the user info tooltip.

When I hover over an MSN contact, a tooltip appears
giving user information (alias, nickname, status, et
al). While the information tooltip is visible, it's
possible to double-click on the contact to initiate a
chat while the tooltip is still active.

In this circumstance, a chat window appears as
expected, but the tooltip window also remains visible.
If the chat window would eclipse the tooltip, I've
noticed that it's redrawn to another portion of the
screen.

Once this occurs, I've found no way to dispell the
tooltip short of signing out of MSN and signing back
in. Since the tooltip window is "always on top", it's
a strong nuisance.

I don't know whether this happens with other protocols
as well, as I only have MSN contacts at present.

This is not a Gaim bug, but a bug in GTK+, the widget toolkit
used by Gaim. Your bug is being moved to our "gtk bugs" tracker,
where it will be grouped with similar bugs. When we know a gtk
bug number for this issue, your group number will reflect it.
