Summary: Dual screen positioning problem.

Initial Comment:
If using a dual screen enviroment, where the left hand
screen is at a lower resulution than the right hand
one, invoking a new window causes it to be positioned
at the top left, but seemingly using the resolution of
the right screen as a guideline to the placement. This
then causes the window to appear offscreen. Due to the
title bar being hidden, repositioning of the window is
impossible (as far as I know).

This is not a Gaim bug, but a bug in GTK+, the widget toolkit
used by Gaim. Your bug is being moved to our "gtk bugs" tracker,
where it will be grouped with similar bugs. When we know a gtk
bug number for this issue, your group number will reflect it.

This is a GTK+ bug.

I created a plugin that acts as a workaround to this GTK+ bug.
It is posted in the Plugins Tracker:

I just discovered that you can reposition the window by
extending it to the right, so it is on the larger of the
screens, and then grab the title bar and move it, before
resizing. This new position doesn't appear to be remembered,
however.
