I have the same 2 - 1 setup but my monitors are offset. So I can't see most of the window. So I have to resize (stretch) the window to my primary, move it, then resize, move, resize. Then I can read the message. Check out this file: http://67.181.255.24/gaimprob.jpg to see a preview, the blue is what I can see, the black is just margine filler. The window on the far left is the bottom of the IM I want to read. Doesn't work to well. Because of this, I can't use GAIM without a lot of hassle, so I am forced to use AIM.
