Initial Comment:
I am not to sure who this happened, but it could be be
from running spy bot search and destroy. Gaim upon
starting will say no disk in \ ____\ ___\harddisk8.
WHat I did was remove (uninstall) all GTK's and GAIM. I
am Running Window$ XP. Hope this helps anyone out there
hwo remotely has encountered this problem.

This is a GTK bug, it is related to removable storage
devices (zip, USB hard drive, USB key, 100-in-1 media card
readers, etc).
