Summary: Window placement problems.

Initial Comment:
Currently using gaim 1.1.2 for Windows - OS: 2003
Enterprise Server, with correct version of GTK

Every version from .80 and up has the same problem. .79
does not display this symptom:

I use a multimonitor system, 3 heads. From version .80
and on the program will only open new conversation
windows at the absolute top left of the left most monitor.

Looks to be 0,0 (pixel number x and y)

When left most monitor is disabled it opens new
conversation windows in the next monitor (left most
monitor) in the same 0,0 position.

Taking the conversation window and moving it elsewhere
on the screen and closing it does not "save" the new
position. It automatically defaults back to absolute left
0,0.

Whether I start the conversation or recieve a message it
makes no difference.

It also does not cascade the messages any longer. They
just keep stacking on top of eachother in the same 0,0
location.

As this is not a crash I have not added any files to
upload.

If more information or a demonstration is needed, please
contact me. I would love to see this resolved as the
newer versions of gaim are far more functional.

Thanks!

-Robert

I created a plugin that acts as a workaround to this GTK bug.
It is posted in the Plugins Tracker:
