The events from this weekend have been bizarre, last night we saw the
images from the Palestine and Pakistan, this is a hope that you are
safe, and that this madness comes to an end soon

To update on some activities/groups in Guyana,
Mothers in Black - a group of mothers/aunts and other relatives of
children who have been killed in road accidents, the group stands
outside the parliament buildings every Friday, for over a year. The
group has also got involved in other issues, contact

Red Thread Women's Development Group -  [EMAIL PROTECTED], one new
initiative would be to spearhead the local Wages for Housework / Global
Women's Strike campaign.
