Hi Martin, thank you very much! Modifying the file directly worked perfectly, although it is a bit hackish. I think it would be nice if this was configurable because if the Galaxy instance is configured to be usable for logged in users only, this is the first page the user sees. There could be a html page like /static/welcome.html for the main site. Also I think there should be an option to hide the password reset link because if external authentication is used, the password shouldn't be changeable in Galaxy. For me I managed to do this by editing templates/user/login.mako but it would be nicer if there was an option in galaxy.ini Should I open a Github issue for my proposals?
