Hi David,

No hard quotas are currently enforced at the Galaxy Main instance. Currently, we ask users to stay within these usage limits:

 User data on server:

  50G or less per dataset
 200G or less per history

 Maximum concurrent NGS jobs:

4 or less per user (user managed)

If you find that you require additional resources, please consider the alternate options explained at:
http://galaxyproject.org/Big%20Picture/Choices

Best!

Jen

Is there a specific limit to the size of files that one can upload to
Galaxy? I have a couple of 7 Gb files that I'm considering uploading (by
ftp as suggested), but I don't want to be a "storage hog". Do I need any
authorization other than the account that I've registered for?
Thanks,
David B.
