The long-awaited latest game in HoYoverse’s *Honkai* RGP series,
*Star Rail*
, finally launched on April 26.
The classic RPG employs a turn-based combat system, and as it’s only
loosely connected with the preceding games, is perfect for those new to the
franchise.
The battle system is also very easy to operate with only three basic
commands including single attacks, special attacks, and special moves.
Special moves can interrupt the action at any time regardless of turns.
The battle system may be simple, but it also offers a number of variables
depending on each character’s individual abilities and equipment making it
difficult to win without learning to bring them together.
*Star Rail* also boasts an open world environment rivaling that of *Genshin
Impact* with a crazy amount of on-screen text, including flavor given to
garbage cans and lamp posts! The in-game universe may be complex in
following various intergalactic mysteries but has an irresistibly playful
tone that will have players hooked on its amusing twists and turns.
