Hi, I would really recommend you to read the manual - it explains everything needed to start a server clearly and perfectly. I will then be glad to answer any detailed questions you may have. Basically, it is enough to select multiplayer game and then host a new game from the main menu, and tell others your server ip or hostname to join your server. Then everything goes like in single player, except that you have to press enter at the beginning of the race when you feel you want to start the race and stop waiting for new players to come. :-) There might be a few problems or rather conditions to keep an eye on though if you want to be successful, and these are mentioned in the manual.
