Hi Richard, Anything you do on the internet involves your ip address in one way or another. Some, actually many, web sites log your ip for security reasons. Even your emails send out ip info so I wouldn't worry about it if security is your concern. However, that said having a virtual domain does make it allot nicer if you plan to do allot of hosting of something. There are several companies out there that offer virtual domains for free or almost nothing that converts your dinamic ip in to a virtual domain like topspeed.someplace.com
