Hi Ari, Here goes:
*quote* > On your site you have a link to a game called Beautiful Ears. This link > does > not work, so I'm asuming that it no longer exists? *quote end* It does indeed seem that the both the website and the online Shockwave game are offline (a common problem for academic projects and one of the reasons for setting up http://www.game-accessibility.com). It might just be that the server is being updated but considering how old the project is, that might be a bit unlikely... *quote* > When are you going to start selling Sudo San? *quote end* Sander and I are currently not working on the offline version of Sudo-San due to our PhD research, various project involvements (including a very cool audio game project) and other stuff in our lives that need attention. When we start selling Sudo-San, you will know through www.AudioGames.net *quote* > Also, I'm in the mood for a type of war/battle game (not something like > tank commander, I'm thinking of something multi-player, or online). Is > their any such game, as now I can play online games? I'm thinking along > the lines of nations or groups of nations trying to build empires. *quote end* I personally never play such games so I can't really answer that question. This game (1000AD) in the AudioGames.net Archive might be what you are thinking of: http://www.audiogames.net/db.php?action=view&id=temp54 Never played this one myself though. And I bet someone else on this mailing list can give you more examples... ? *quote* >Another thing I want to know, is does anyone know what's happened to that >game called The Blind Eye? I heard it has been abandoned or something, does >anyone know about this? *quote end* The game is the result of The Blind Eye Research Project, which main purpose was to reveal the specific visual, pedagogical and technical problems relating to the development of a 3D sound game for the blind. So only a demo was intended, not a final complete game. The development of the Blind Eye demo began in the summer of 2000 and took about 6 months (as far as I could find out). With finishing and testing the demo, the project came to an end and that's basically it. *quote* > Thanks > Ari *quote end* You welcome, Richard http://www.audiogames.net _______________________________________________ Gamers mailing list ..
