I have two muds that I play. The one I play the most is called New Worlds, however you have to be eighteen or older to play. It is roleplay intensive, so if you are really into serious roleplay it's awesome. If you're just wanting to go kill stuff, it's not the mud for you. The website is www.newworlds-rpg.com, and I would definitely reocmmend visiting the site and familiarizing yourself with the races, guilds and history before playing. The mud itself is fairly easy to learn though, and extremely newbie friendly. Like I said, it is adult only, though not in a sexual sense just in a rules sense.
A more hack and slash, kill everything that moves type mud is called aardwolf. It's one of the more blind player friendly ones I've seen with a few adjustments, and there are a ton of players.
