yeah from what I hear Goldwave is a great recorder. I had downloaded the shareware version to play around with for a few sounds to see what the allegro game library would and wouldn't do with playing music files. Like how big a file could be and the player still play it, but can't get goldwave to work for me. I don't know what is the problem, but JAWS isn't working with it and I have downloaded the scripts and everything, oh well that is another list to discuss that on. Anyways, hope you have better luck that I did. BEAN
