Booga booga kids, As I wind down the beta programming for Rail Racer, I am considering gathering resources for the next release from Blind Adrenaline. Here are the three games I am considering at this point: 1. Kickboxer - A fighting game where two players meet over the internet to beat each others brains out. Like rail racer, this game allows use of the mouse or joystick to input various combinations against your opponent. For instance to pull off a roundhouse kick, you may need to move your controller left, then right and hit the second button. There will be lots of combos like this that willl need to be mastered to be an effective fighter.
2. Head to Head football - A football simulation allowing two players to go at it on the gridiron. This also will be internet ready, and will include season results posted to the web, so we can hold tournaments and the like. Besides a full playlist to simulate coaching, I plan on including the ability to control individual players to some extent during a play. The way I envision it, folks can set up their own leagues, and play an entire season of NFL football, with any teams not claimed by humans being played by the computer. 3. Gunship - A helicopter fighting simulation modeled after the Apache A64 attack helicopter. The Apache is currently the baddest helicopter on the planet, capable of holding a large amount of various missiles for tank killing, troop slaying, and target bombing. In addition the Apache has one of the most advanced targeting systems known to man with the TADS system, and all of this will be integrated into the simulation, along with the fearsome chain gun mounted on the front of the chopper. I am curious what players out there are most interested in of these three games. The games are pretty much listed in ascending order of complexity, and therefore development time, with Gunship being far more complex than the other two games. If I go with Gunship, you can expect an extended wait on the release of the simulation, as I used to be a hard core flight simulation player when I could see, and I plan on bringing a high level of intensity to this game. Please let me know what you think, and which game you would prefer. Thanks, Che Blind Adrenaline Simulations Games by one of us, for all of us. http://www.blindAdrenaline.com _______________________________________________ Gamers mailing list ..
