I like online play when possible.  I prefer playing a game of chess in real 
time against a human.  Computer chess is good, too, but nothing beats that 
heat to head play.  Plus, humans are easier to beat than computer programs. 
Plus, the ability to shoot the bull between plays adds something to the 
gaming experience.  You can sort of get to know gamers.
