Hi all,
First, thanks to everyone who's answered my post on my problem.
I was on this site of this company who sells products in America, I think
the name is Independent Living Aids (this is where my teacher bought
Terraformers from for me).
In their computer games section, they have got two products, a Virtouch
Games Player, and a Virtouch Classic Games Player. The cost of these
products are about $800. I have been reading up a bit on these products, but
can't really understand what they are. It seems to be a product where pins
move up and down, and somehow these products have action-packed games on
them, which are playable by blind people. Has someone on this list used
these players? My questions are:
1. Are these games some kind of audio-based games as well? Can you basically
give us more explanasion and outline of this product? Can you describe to us
who live overseas and who've never seen it in it's physical form?
2. What is this hardware, and how do moving pins allow blind people to play
car racing, fishing, etc?
3. Why is the product nearly $800? What do you get with the product?
4. How challenging are the games, do they have difficulty levels?
Thanks
Ari
