hi kellie, Basically Audio quake is quake with some adaptations. Quake is a first-person shooter. Your job is basically to kill everything you find on a particular level. There's not much of a story line really that I'm aware of. You go around collecting weapons and ammo to kill monsters, and go online to kill other players.
Basically what Audio Quake is is a modification of quake. some games run mods, like some software has plugins. It's the same basic game, except things are modified, targeting sounds and walking sounds are added as well as a bunch of other sounds, warning systems and informational systems. It uses Sapi 5 for voice output and I believe can be played with a braille display. It's not as easy to set up and use as, say, shades of doom, but it's not too hard and well worth it.
