It's actually refreshing to hear that Chillingham is hard. What is the point
of buying a game that is so easy you can learn how to play it in a day or
two, and master it on it's easier levels soon? Some sighted games are so
difficult, my cousin bought a game with a 300 page guide! I agree with you
Ivan though that Bavisoft's pricing is quite steep, I also think that
Pininteractive is also expensive for Terraformers.
By the way, can someone help me. I try and play inform games, but I don't
know how to navigate the Winfrots help and hints system. I sort of get the
menue, but can't navigate through the different topics. I'd also like to
know from you guys what are your best text adventures and why? I'm trying a
TA called Adventure, problem is, I don't really know what I'm supposed to
do. Adventure is playable in Windows if you route your Jaws cursor, and does
not need an interpreter. This folder is small enough for me to email, so if
you want to also try it you can email me offlist.
For those of you who want to download Times Ashes, I've finally found where
you get it from. It is in the 'Starters' directory of the IF-archive. Not
sure of the web address, just type IF archive into google.
