Ladies and Gentlemen,
I want to start off by saying that I'm not doing this in the name of personal
gratification, and I'm not putting you all on. I am telling you all this simply
because it is wrong for you not to know.
Ivan is a fraud. He is not producing a game, and he never was. I thought this
might be the case all along, and I received proof just minutes ago. I was
subscribed to his E-ray games list, a list from which I will now surely be
banned, and he posted a message asking if people liked the game so far and what
features they would like to see added. I posted back, informing him that nobody
could tell him whether they liked the game so far when there wasn't a trailer
or a playable demo. He then sent me a personal attitude informing me that he
didn't want that "attitude" on the list. Attitude? Anyway, I sent him an email
in return, and confessed to him that I didn't believe the game existed. Now
before anyone flames me for being brutal with Ivan, which I assure you I
wasn't, I also told him that I would formally appolagise to him and the list if
I saw proof of the game's existence. He sent me an email back with... the
proof. His "proof" was the game's source code, he claimed. This supposed source
code was in an RTF file, first of all, and even a smalltime programmer like
myself knows that every language has its own script extention. Secondly, there
wasn't a thing resembling a programming language in the file. To put it simply,
it was all a bunch of giberish except for the end, which was an atempt to
convince me by putting some "keystrokes" and their functions in a list. I'm
sorry for this, and I don't know what kind of flak I'll take, but I had to
reveal this particular truth.
Sincerely,
Brandon
