Hello, Jim. In my experience with text based game play you have to have to be good enough at spelling to do the basic commands. For example, in a wizard game you might have to do "cast fire spell" which would cast a fire spell at an enemy. There are other types of commands like, "look" which gives you a description of the dungeon, room, spaceship, etc you are at. Anyway, depending how good you are typing and spelling it might not be the best style of game play for you.
