Yes Charles,
And the thing is, from the main blindness organisations, even though we've
moved into the digital age, the latest stuff from them for entertainment are
still board games, and since they're of such old varieties, it's hard to
enjoy something with sighted friends who enjoy the newest stuff. I know
that, as Liam says, it's financial, but what I'm hoping for, at least as a
beginning, is for game companies to work together with some organisations to
make some really memorable blockbusters. Maybe, for the moment, only a few
games, example football (which I feel would be popular throughout the
world), and maybe some other types of games like a strategy, or some action,
or something where companies will really use sound, game play, and audio and
make something so good that people would just play it over and over. Of
course, in the future, the situation could improve, but for the moment, if
for a start something could be done. I agree with Thomas's suggestions, but
I really have no idea of how to start, especially as I don't live in those
countries, I think someone that does, or who knows some big players at these
organisations could help us out.
Ari
