Well, I have a huge problem with earbuds. I absolutely hate them. So I'm biased. Haha. I'd blame the earbuds. However, you can also turn the PSP volume up. Just in front of the PSP's screen is a row of buttons. The one all the way on the left is the home button, and the ones to the right of that are the volume down and volume up buttons in that order.
