Hi Michael, Correct. In fact, I tried doing what James was doing with 3D buffers to give a better more realistic soundscape, and am running in to the same sort of grief. I think the best solution here will be stereo panning which is simple, and while not exactly realistic it is the best anyone can expect for Monty.
