Hi, I think that is why Eloquence has lasted as long as it has as a software tts engine. For years Dectalk was the top cheese, but when Eloquence came along it became the most popular software TTS Engine of all time. Actually, when I prototype a game I actually use Eloquence as my prototyping voice. It says things right aalmost all the time, has a small footprint in wav files, is multilingual, and even the wav files seam more responcive. I've almost been tempted to use it in my games for those reasons alone, but I know many people don't like Eloquence. I for one do like the more realistic voices to, but Eloquence does the job easier.
