Hi Charles,

That is a tricky question to answer. Since a key generator can create
the keys for an unlimited number of copies of the game, even for
people who didn't buy the generator, it is rather difficult to put a
price on something like that. However, I don't think it should be
worth more than the price of the original product.

Let's say you purchased Troopenum II for 24.99 then I don't think the
generator for that game should be more than the cost of the game since
obviously you are entitled to a product key. Since you couldn't get
the product keys from the company a license key generator should be
provided instead for a small fee of say $5.00. That allows the
developer to make money off the key generator, but isn't forcing the
customer to pay two or three times what the key generator is actually
worth.

However, in this particular case you are not just getting a key
generator. You are getting a license for every single product Justin
wrote, both games and general software, which is probably a fair price
considering you are getting $280 worth of software for a single price
of $75 and an endless number of keys for them for as long as they run
on your PC which is the catch 22.

My problem isn't that it is a fair price, but I don't want to buy
everything he is selling. If I don't want to pay for Troopenum II,
which I already own, I still have to consider it part of that $75 I am
shelling out for the software bundle. There are other things I don't
particularly want either, but I have to pay for them weather I want
them or not so in that sense it is a bit unfair. I'd rather just buy
the key generators for Pipe II, Troopenum II, and so on which should
be a discountsince I already paid for them once, and all I need is the
key gen.

Cheers!
