Hi Joseph, I am assuming you are talking about the issue where 3d audio etc is broken in DirectSound under Windows 7 and Windows 8? If so there isn't anything you personally can do about that problem. The only way to resolve the issues with DirectSound is for the developer of the game in question to go in and correct the problem in his/her game either by switching to a different API like XAudio2, or by changing the way DirectSound processes sounds. There isn't anything you can do by installing some piece of software etc.
